Last Friday was "Independence Day" for the U.S.
On this day America won their freedom from Great Britain in 1776.
We celebrate this day by having parades, BBQs, and fireworks!
It's a big celebration in the U.S.
For the 4th of July activity, we prepared a piñata shaped as a star decorated as an U.S.A. flag!
A piñata is a object filled with treats originally from Mexico.
It is a symbol of celebration, in the U.S. you will see it at birthday parties.
The students had so much fun!
We fixed the piñata each time and had the activity the following week as well!
Happy 4th!!!
