Children love to play with play dough. We usually use DIY play dough (made by flour), but this time we use oil-based clay. Some children asked us for some colors to mix, and disappointed they couldn't do it. But once they started playing with that play dough, they focused and enjoyed making some shapes. Most of them just roll and pat to make a pizza, but one child made something unique. He used all tools for playdough to express to his imagination. That was like an artist (sculptor). We were so amazed how he used the playdough and created the things without any teacher's advice.
We may be limiting our creativity in many ways without even realizing it… There is a rule in our society but there is nothing we should limit our imagination skill/creativity. Everyone has different idea and thought, so we would like to support them to develop their skills/ creativities.
Playdough time!
