It’s almost Christmas time. We sometimes talked about what we wish for Christmas presents. When children talked their wish, their eyes were shining and we could tell how excited they were the Christmas day.
Last week, we did Christmas tree art and craft. Teachers cut the green paper to tree shape, and children put some stickers and painted on it. It was very interesting that some of them put the stickers on the holes of the paper as if they thought the holes were for the mark where they put the stickers on. Big people (adult ) try to avoid holes and paste stickers on the paper without thinking. The children gave us interesting idea which we could not expect, so we can learn from them every day.
From this week, we started to give them back the Christmas tree craft. We hope they love the craft and enjoy the Christmas day. And we are providing other activity, sensory activity, this week. Many of them are very sensitive what they touch, especially the thing new to them. It might be challenging for them, but also it would help them to broaden their horizons. Hope they can accept and love the activity.
