真夏並みの気温になってきた今日この頃、熱中症には気を付けていきたいですね。
6月と言えば梅雨、梅雨と言えば・・・あじさいですね。
個別課題の時間では折り紙を使ってあじさいを製作しました。一日にひとりひとつ・・・と製作していくうちに大きなあじさいの花が完成。
折り紙、一見簡単そうに見えるものでも実際に折ってみると意外と難しい・・・ってことがよくありますよね。子どもたちも同様で折り紙が得意な子、難しく感じる子など・・・その子によって千差万別です。どの子でも最後まで完成できた達成感を味わえるよう、折り方を視覚的に伝えていきながらスタッフがマンツーマンで支援できるようにしています。小さなことから「最後までできた！」という達成感を積み重ねていってほしいなと思います。

June is the rainy season in Japan. It can feel a bit gloomy, but seeing all the colorful hydrangeas blooming everywhere makes the season more cheerful and helps us enjoy it a bit more!
For our craft activity this month, we decided to decorate our wall with a big hydrangea as a group using origami.
Origami may seem easy, but it can be complex at times. We made a step-by-step chart so the students had a better idea of what they were making.
It was a challenge for some students and easy for others. Teachers and friends supported each other to create one big artwork together!
The students were able to gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment from the activity!
We were gifted real hydrangeas by one of our student's family the other day! We are very fortunate to have these kinds of heartwarming connections with the families☺
